- Take 1small bowl rava
- Take 2.5small bowl water
- Take 2-3 tbsp raw peanuts
- Make ready 1 tbsp chanadal
- Get 1 1/2 tbsp urad dal
- Get 1 sprig curry leaves
- Prepare 1 green chilli
- Make ready 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- Take 2-3 tsp oil

Instructions to make Rava upma:
- STEP 1: take a pan add 01 tsp oil and add 02-03 tbsp raw peanuts.Fry peanuts till brown colour or crunchy.
- STEP 2: addp chanadal, urad dal and saute for few minutes
- STEP 3: add a sprig of curry leaves,01 chopped green chilli and stir it.
- STEP 4: Add mustard seeds and let it splitter.
- STEP 5 :Remove it and keep it aside on plate
- STEP 6: Take same pan add 01-02 tsp oil and add 01 small bowl rava. Roast it for 01 min and take it out in bowl.
- STEP 7: in same pan add 2.5 small bowls of water, add salt to taste and let it boil.
- STEP 8: add roasted rava slowly in pan.keep flame on low and keep stirring with other hand to avoid lumps
- STEP 9: Once rava soaks water completely and it becomes thick add fried ingredients.(for consistency check photo below)
- STEP 10: Mix it well and rava upma is ready to serve.
- NOTE: 1.KEEP STIRRING ONCE YOU START ADDING RAVA IN WATER OTHERWISE LUMPS WILL FORM. 2. YOU CAN USE GHEE INSTEAD OF OIL IF YOU WANT.
