Steps to make Rava Upma:
- Dry roast rava/ suji till aromatic. Keep all ingredients ready.
- Heat oil in a kadai,add mustard seeds after it cracks add urad dhal and channa dhal. Fry till color changes.
- Add curry leaves, cashews and green chillies. Saute for a minute.
- Next add onions and fry till translucent. Add coriander leaves and salt. Saute for 2 minutes.
- Add water and allow to boil(1 cup Rava: 2 cup Water). Lower flame and slowly add roasted rava stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Mix well till water is absorbed and cover with lid for 2 minutes.
- Add ghee and mix well. Serve hot with coconut chutney or sugar.
