Steps to make Almond Malpua:
  1. In a heated pan take 2 cups of sugar 1 cup water & saffron bring it to boil to get 1 taar syrup. Once done keep aside.
  2. In a bowl mix almond flour, wheat flour, fennel seeds, black pepper with water (as needed) to make a pouring consistency batter. Meanwhile heat desi ghee in a flat pan.
  3. As the ghee heats up pour a small ladle batter in it to shallow fry the malpua from both sides. Repeat the process with the whole batter.
  4. Once the malpuas are done soak them in the sugar syrup for 2 mins. Garnish them with chopped almonds, silver cardamoms & serve hot. Enjoy!!
