A garlicky braised cabbage infused with chorizo and topped with creme fraiche that's as good on its own as it is with rice. Add the cabbage cut side down in batches and fry in the oil until the wedges begin to colour. Transfer to a baking tray cut side down, then repeat with the remaining cabbage. Perfect for using up bits and pieces left in the fridge, simply fry and mix with egg and pour into a muffin tray!

- heat the olive oil in a large pan or wok.
- add the onion and garlic and fry for about 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
- reduce the heat to medium and add the cabbage. I also added extra olive oil here
- season with salt, black pepper and hot chilli powder.
- add the chorizo
- fry for 10-15 minute or until its cooked, stirring often
- Heat the water and dissolve the cube.
- add the water and wine to cabbage and cook for a further 5 or so minutes
- leave to rest for a few minutes and serve.
