- Now heat desi ghee add the grated carrot,saute till becomes dry,Add sugar and Cardamom and nutmeg powder,mix well..
- Cook till it looses the pan.
- Now add the sauted mava mix well.
- Now cook for 7 minutes on slow flame,take it down let it cool for 5 minutes,take mould and make burfis,decorate with cashews.
- Put it freezer for 10 minutes burfi is ready to serve.
How to make Carrot Burfi: Heat a heavy bottomed vessel and add the grated carrot to it. Heat it to dry, stirring continuously. Repeat the same with grated coconut and keep it aside. Carrot Burfi is a fusion twist to the traditional burfi recipe. Prepared with the goodness of fresh carrots, this makes for a perfect festive recipe.
