  2. Heat the oven to 180 C.
  3. The batter should be nice and thick, sprinkle the baking powder and xanthan gum over the top and give the batter another thorough whisk.
  4. Pour the batter into a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 mins.
  5. Allow to cool in the tin for ten mins then lift out onto a wire rack to cool.
  6. The bread will be pretty dense and it holds together well enough to melt cheese onto it to dip into casseroles and soups.
