- Take a pan and add rest of the olive oil to it. Once heated add the chopped tomato to it and cook it till it gets soft. Then add the chickpeas purée to it. Add the water as required to adjust the quantity of the soup. Let it come to boil and then cook for a couple minutes on medium flame. Switch the flame off and serve soup hot.
