  1. Choose tender and medium size fresh okra so that it doesn't have lots of seeds. First of all wash and dry it completely. There should be no water remaining. Cut okra lengthwise into 4 pieces. You can remove the seeds if you want but I have kept the seeds too. Now add turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, chaat masala, garam masala and salt to it and mix it very well. Leave it aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Now add gram flour and rice flour to it and coat all the pieces very well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan on high heat and fry prepared okra in batches until golden brown and crisp. Repeat the process to finish all the prepared okra.
  4. Sprinkle some lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves. Kurkuri bhindi can be served as a snack, starter or as a side dish with a main meal.
